Carry On

My sincere apologies for dumping so many deviations on you at once, but I put it off for months and they piled up!

This was a birthday gift for my mother. Carry On is meant to make her office job a little more tolerable through her message (oh, that iconic message!) and... well, do you have any idea how calming it is to pet a pony's hair? I'm proud to say that Carry On is performing her duties admirably months later and her hair is still very much worth petting.

The unsuspecting bait pony was Seaspray. Imperfect lettering and the crown were painted with acrylics (brand? what?), glittered, and sealed with Mod Podge. Eyes were sealed with something else. Carry On's hair is, of course, Dollyhair nylon and her necklace is just a bit of salvaged silver and gold chain with a charm that my mother picked out. A few Swarovski crystals are scattered about to make the pony shiny (my mother does like shiny things) and to cover wayward marks that I couldn't remove.
